After the summer break, the band leader made a tough decision to put the band on hold. After an evaluation of the past year we have been feeling burned out and discussions revealed that some of the band members were interested in pursuing their own projects for now.

We want to thank everyone who went along on the journey and we will update if things may change in the future.

ColourCollide through the years

Here is a slideshow of ColourCollide in action from 2017 – 2025:

Our journey started in Germany. Jordan and Eli met there and talked about starting a band. Eli already had plans to fly to NZ. After she arrived, Jordan and her tested the waters and wrote “So I Jump” in KeriKeri in 2017 and the two of them started the band. They would travel to Tauranga to perform their songs at Steigers Open Mic’s. There they met the houseband leader Taavi, who joined them shortly afterwards on drums. Our first bigger gig was at Festival One in 2018 with Eden on the bass, where we unbeknownst to us won a band contest. 2019 we got the chance to tour through Poland, Germany and Finland. After a couple years and collaborations with several people the band grew into a five piece arrangement with the first guitarist being Will. ColourCollide had the chance to record “Stand Still” in 2021 with Will and brought it out under the label “Lost by design”. 2022 Jordan, Eli and Taavi took ColourCollide to Rovaniemi, Finland and built the band fresh with Eero and Juhani. The label dissolved at the end of 2024. The last years saw many changes and opportunities, reaching a crossroad in summer of 2025. The band is now on ice until further notice.
